Trillion-Euro Phone Bill Shocks French Woman, Company Argues Bill Was Accurate

A trillion-Euro phone bill has sent a French woman into a fit of panic recently. Solenne San Jose, from Bordeaux, France has reported that she recently opened up her phone bill to find an impossibly large demand.

Solenne, obviously panicked by the demand, calmed herself enough to make a call to the phone company to clear things up - obviously expecting they would confirm it was a technical error and ask her to ignore the demand.
However, when she called she was stunned to hear the Bouygues Telecom agent insisting that the bill was accurate.

Solenne was further shocked to hear the agent explain that the 11,721,000,000,000,000 Euros would soon be debited from her bank account as usual.

The stunned French woman has reportedly said, "There were so many zeroes I couldn't even work out how much it was."After an extended conversation, and no doubt heated debate, Solenne was able to convince someone at the other end that it must be a mistake.
Bouygues Telecom later admitted that the woman should have in fact been billed for just 117.21 Euros and not the trillion Euros demanded, according to AFP.
It was later found that the over-the-top demand was a simple technical error that was the result of a printing mistake.
